Skoda Octavia RS Second Batch: 50 Cars at ₹56.69 Lakh

Skoda confirmed a second India batch of 50 Octavia RS cars on 4 September 2026, priced at ₹56.69 lakh ex-showroom. Deliveries were scheduled from the following week. The August booking announcement is now followed by a confirmed price; remaining October allocation needs dealer confirmation.
The first Octavia RS batch, launched in October 2025, was limited to 100 fully-imported units and sold out in roughly 20 minutes, before Skoda had even announced pricing. Brand Director Ashish Gupta said at the time that close to 350 interested buyers were left on a waiting list, and that those existing bookings would get priority once a second allocation opened up — which appears to be exactly what's happening now.
Skoda’s 4 September release confirms ₹56.69 lakh ex-showroom for the second batch. It lists a 2.0 TSI engine with 265 PS and 370 Nm, paired with a seven-speed DSG. Current stock and the final invoice should be confirmed with the dealer.
Why It Matters
The first batch proved there's a real, committed enthusiast audience in India willing to pay a premium for a CBU performance sedan with no direct rival at its price point. A second allocation — even a small one, given India's CBU import cap — signals Skoda sees the Octavia RS as a genuine, repeatable halo product rather than a one-off stunt. Expect it to sell out again quickly.
